1. Pause at line 7. Circle the names of the characters you meet.

-maibon, modrona and the old man

2. Re-read lines 8–13. In what sort of shape is Maibon now? How does Maibon feel about getting old?

-maibon is old and he feels bad because he can’t do the same things that he could do when he was young

-Modron was referring to her not to worry about the things that should not matter
